Evergreen Hills Apartments Property Manager Kristi Cain and staff, have joined forces with six full time staffers working with children in the Gananda district. There are 30 children who are part of this year’s tutoring program. The tutoring program began a ten week trial last spring, it was so successful that it’s back for 30 weeks this year. This includes help academically like reading or other cases that is more severe requiring Individual Education Program. The program is open on Monday (grade 3), Tuesday (grades 4/5) and Wednesday (grades 1/2) and will end on Memorial Day. Aside from tutoring, the children receive help with social skills, character education, and problem solving.
