MassHire Holyoke and the Hampden County workforce initiated a program helping local businesses support their employees and employees’ family members who are recovering from addiction. The event took place on March 24th at the Summit View Banquet and Meeting House.
In attendance were local businesses, local and state officials including Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development, Rosalin Acosta.
Trish Leonard, Senior Vice President of Housing Management Resources, Inc. was the first to take the pledge and be part of this amazing initiative. The goal of Recovery Ready Workforce is to create a supportive culture, provide resources and tools to those who have impacted by substance abuse. This is one more tool in the tool box for supporting members of the HMR team and their families.
